Accessibility statement
Everyone should be able to use our website. This page explains what we do to make that possible, and how to tell us when something is not working for you.
Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We design and build our pages with WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard.
We have not yet had this website formally audited for accessibility. If you find a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
Some parts of the site rely on third-party services, such as booking or form tools. We cannot control how accessible those are, but we will do what we can to help you use them.
What we do
Keyboard navigation
Every page can be navigated with a keyboard alone. Links, buttons and form fields show a visible focus indicator.
Sufficient contrast
Text and important interface elements meet contrast ratios that keep them readable.
Resizable text
The site works when text is enlarged, and layouts hold together at 200% browser zoom.
Alt text for images
Meaningful images carry text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Reduced motion
Animations are subtle, and they are switched off entirely if your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
Plain English
We write in short sentences and avoid jargon, which helps everyone, including people using translation tools or screen readers.
Consistent navigation and labelled forms
Menus stay in the same place across pages, and every form field has a clear label.
Feedback
If you have trouble using any part of this website, email support@vaulnut.com. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and we will look into it and reply.
Enforcement
If you are not happy with our response, you can get advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which advises on rights under the Equality Act 2010.
